Elections in India are all about speculations, predictions, excitement and celebrations.  Our current polity is all about practical approach towards Winn ability.  Ideological battle is almost over and dynamic issues and current affairs are the main discussion points for the elections.  Another important change too have happened over the years in Indian elections, the Indian voters have become much more mature than ever, they now understand the politics, their burning issues, who is good for them; you can only lure them to an extent, but beyond a point they cant be influenced and they know who could give them good governance and that alone is the decisive point for the voters of today, specially with new or youth voters to choose their leaders.

Hindus in Kerala are known to be a very liberal class and have always walked the talk on social reforms. The literacy levels are high too, but vote-bank politics practiced by its two major political combinations ensured that Hindus continued to remain divided on the basis of caste and other social faultiness. Kerala is also one of those states in the country where Hindus are fast becoming a minority. With no single community leadership, they have continued to languish while the minorities, though numerically less enjoyed the fruits of power.

Politics is the most dynamic activity in a democracy and for the last 7 decades we have experienced almost every aspect of it in our country.  National parties to regional parties everyone had their own role in making our political discourses very dynamic.   But when it comes to Economy, all the political parties have been conservative in their outlook and approach so far.

While the pollution in Delhi is getting better now.  The credit can be given it to the climate, including wind or even to the Odd Even car policy.  But, what worries me is the Political pollution, which looks like it has been manufactured. Politics without activism and activities, allegations and self praises are difficult to digest.
